Temple of Hephaestus, Athens

The Temple of Hephaestus is another outstanding ancient temple at the Agora of Athens. It was built in the 5th century BCE and is dedicated to the god Hephaestus, the patron of blacksmiths and craftsmen. The marvelous temple is known for its well-preserved Doric columns and is a fantastic example of ancient Greek architecture.
