The Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Pilar is a church in Zaragoza, Spain. It is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the country. The basilica is built on the site where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to Saint James the Greater in 40 AD. The church is a beautiful example of Baroque architecture.
