Cappelle Medicee, Florence

The Cappelle Medicee, also known as the Medici Chapels, is a complex of chapels located in the Basilica of San Lorenzo. The chapels were built by the famous Medici family and are home to some of the most remarkable works of art in Florence, including sculptures by Michelangelo and frescoes by Bronzino. Visitors can also explore the crypt and the New Sacristy.
