La Matanza de Acentejo is a municipality in the northern part of the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, Spain. It is located in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on the island's north coast. The municipality includes the towns of El Sauzal, La Victoria de Acentejo and Tegueste.
