Lucentum

Lucentum is an ancient city in Alicante, Spain. The city was founded by the Romans and was an important city in the Roman province of Hispania Baetica. Lucentum was captured by the Moors in the 8th century and was reconquered by the Christians in the 13th century. The city is now a tourist destination with many Roman ruins to explore.
