Yasukuni Shrine, Tokyo

Yasukuni Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Chiyoda, Tokyo. It was established in 1869 to commemorate the spirits of those who died in service of the Japanese empire. The shrine is known for its entrancing gardens and its traditional architecture, and it is also home to the Yasukuni War Museum, which presents a controversial view of Japan's role in World War II.
