Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple, Singapore

A Buddhist temple in Bugis neighborhood, dedicated to Kwan Im (also known as Kuan Yin) - the Goddess of Mercy. With a history dating to 1884, Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho has a traditional Chinese temple's architecture, red-golden decoration, and stately golden Cundi Bodhisattva (one of Kwan Im reincarnations) statue. The place is very popular among believers who wish to receive blessings of luck and good fortune from their Goddess and tourists who wish to observe the marvelous temple.
