Basilica di San Francesco, Arezzo

Basilica di San Francesco is a charming Gothic-style Medieval church, it has a simple design, that only contributes to the peace and quiet that the prayers need. The late 13th-century Basilica is one of the oldest churches in Arezzo and is dedicated to Francis of Assisi. At this church, you will also find wonderful frescos by Bicci di Lorenzo and the magnificent Renaissance painter Piero della Francesca, who continued Bicci di Lorenzo's work after he pass away.
