Basilica Cateriniana San Domenico was originally dedicated by the Dominicans to St. Dominic in 1226. The Basilica is also where St. Catherine (Catherine of Siena) which her relics can be found at the Basilica, spend most of her life during the 14th century. While undergoing many changes and destruction during the next centuries, the Basilica remains one of the main worship places in Siena.
