Roman Forum, Rome

Located between the Palatine and Capitoline hills, the Roman Forum was the main public venue in ancient Rome. During the Republic days, the Roman Forum hosts important political events, religious occasions, gladiators' battles, and other public and commerce activities. During the Roman Empire times, many ceremonies took place at the Forum and the place is brimming with temples and other phenomenal historical landmarks.
